Music is a very important part of our lives. Some of us play instruments, others sing, but everyone enjoys music. For the past few weeks, we have refrained from listening to music because of tragic times in Klal Yisroel's history. Now, however, we are told that music can once again be listened to - that joy can once again enter our hearts.

It is with great pleasure that I share you with some of my music. I, together with master producer Avi Newmark, decided to remix a song from my recent album, "you and i". The song has had tremendous success and we thought you all may enjoy hearing it in a brand new light.

Unlike other music, we're giving this away for free. There is absolutely no cost. Feel free to send it to as many people as you'd like. Download it, copy it, and put it on your MP3 players.

The Sameach Music Podcast episode # 39 is something totally new and different. The whole podcast features an in studio live interview with Benny and Shmuel Marcus of 8th Day. Benny and Shmully play lots of great 8th day music and even play a couple non 8th Day songs. It's a question and answer session with 8th Day.

This podcast is also a special joint production with Yosef Dov of OlamRadio.com, in for a MIA Dov Katz. Dov wasn't able to do this show so we brought in YoDo. Actually, YoDo brought us to him. We recorded the entire thing in the heart of OlamRadio's World Headqurters in Far Rockaway, NY.

I hope everyone enjoys this commercial. We're always trying to bring you something light and fun while at the same time showcasing what we have to offer here at Sameach Music.

As the "adapter" of this commercial I just wanted to say that from the moment I first saw the first Geico Caveman commercial I loved it and wanted to do a Jewish adaptation of it.

I want to give a shout out to the original creators of this ad concept and I hope everyone will enjoy our Shtetl twist on it.

We get many common questions here at Sameach Music. One that always pops up is "What can we do with our scratched CD's?"

In the past we told you that you can use toothpaste. A reader of this website e-mailed us another option.

Try using a banana, the peel and some Windex. Watch the video below and try it at home. Maybe use a rotting banana so you aren't wasting food.

Here is your first sneak peak at the new album from Lenny Solomon. This CD features original music by Lenny, plus one classic Jewish song remade like you've never heard before!

The CD is called Osher V'Osher (Happiness and Wealth) and will be available August 30th, 2007. We will be uploading a sampler next week.

This CD features Avi Singolda on Guitars, Shalitiel David on Drums, Jeff Horvitch on Keyboards and Percusion, Shmulik Kalish & Zev Frid on backup vocals. Special appearances by Shlomo Katz, Avi Avidani & Aryeh Volnitz.
